Come hike in the Indian Canyons on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. Hike will begin at the Trading Post in beautiful Palm Canyon, the largest palm oasis in the world and home to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.

The trail continues to the East Fork Trail and climbs out of the palm oasis. The hiker is taken on a journey through rolling hills and rock formations through the country of the Cahuilla. The trail crosses Palm Canyon Creek and climbs to Indian Potrero. The Potrero is a natural pasture area with grass and mesquite. The trail passes through "Simmota" and one lone palm. The trail crosses over Palm Canyon Creek and returns south back to the Trading Post. Trail is 9 miles and is rated as strenuous.

We will meet at the Palm Canyon Trading Post inside the Indian Canyons at 8:30 A.M.

Bring Plenty of water, hiking boots, lunch, and a smile.
