Hike to Bulls Eye Rock

Come hike in the Indian Canyons on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. Hike will begin at the Trading Post in beautiful Palm Canyon, the largest palm oasis in the world and home to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The trail continues to the East Fork Trail and climbs out of the plam oasis. The hiker is taken on a journey through the country of the Cahuilla. The trail connects with the Indian Potrero Trail and begins the climb up Cedar Creek Canyon. The trail passes through "Simmota" and a grove of sage. The trail ends at "Bulls Eye Rock." Trail is 10 miles.
We will meet at the Palm Canyon Trading Post inside the Indian Canyons at 8:30 A.M.
Bring Plenty of water, hiking boots, lunch, and a smile.
Trail guide is Sean Milanovich. Sean, s member of the Agua Caliente, grew up on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. Sean's passion is hiking and exploring deep into the landscape. Sean learned to hike from his dad Richard Milanovich. Sean has been hiking in the canyons all his life. Milanovich is a Native American Historian and is excited to share his stories with you.
